TERMS & CONDITIONS

Welcome to IncuBaker,

your co-working kitchen.

The Terms and Conditions below help ensure that everyone has a pleasant experience using this shared facility.  


1.  General Terms

 

1.1. The terms apply to all bookings.

 

1.2. The terms apply to both the person making/paying for the booking as well as their guests.

 

1.3. The management reserves the right to exclude anyone whom they deem unsuitable of being able to safely or responsibly using the facilities provided. 

 

1.4. Users are advised that CCTVs and cameras are in operation and you may be individually identified on video, on photographs or any other forms of visual representation, for use in any purposes as required by IncuBaker. Copyright will be retained by IncuBaker.  Should you wish your images not to be included in such, please email us at ask@incubaker.sg prior to the booking.

2.  Workstations

 

2.1. Users are to book the right number of workstations needed for their number of persons (4 per workstation).

 

2.2. During the booking, users are to keep to their booked number of stations, e.g. if only 2 stations are booked, then there should be no “spill-over” to other stations.  Personal belongings are to be stowed at the lounge area.  This is to prevent possible contamination of the work surfaces.

 

2.3. Users will be charged accordingly if it is found that there has been the use of additional areas not booked for.  

 

3.  Equipment

 

3.1. Unless prior arrangements have been made, users are free to use ANY equipment in the studio EXCEPT the following:

 

a.  UNOX Chef Top Plus Combination Oven

b.  SAGI Blast Chiller

c.  CUISINART Ice-Cream Maker

d.  CUISINART Waffle Maker

e.  KENWOOD Chef Mixer XL (6.7L bowl) – complimentary with Chef’s suite booking.

 

3.2. This equipment can be used at an additional fee. (Please enquire for rates)

 

3.3. Users are responsible for managing and using the equipment and tools with care. 

 

3.4. All equipment provided in the studio is ASSUMED to be in good working order.  It will be the user’s duty to highlight any faults BEFORE the start of their session.  Photographs and videos to highlight the defect will be necessary and should be sent to the management at +65 96956599 (WhatsApp or MMS) as soon as possible, failing which, liability for damage to facilities and equipment will be borne by the user(s) in question.

 

3.5. Further, should equipment be damaged during the duration of usage, the cost of repair or replacement will be levied on the user responsible for the damage caused. 

 

3.6. All users must also abide by the “Fair-Use” Policy.  This means that if you have booked for only one workstation, not more than 2 ovens, 2 mixers, etc can be used during the duration of the booking without prior arrangement with the management.  What is deemed as “Fair-Use” will be decided by the management.

 

3.7. While instructions will be made available, it is the user’s responsibility to ensure that they are aware of how to use them properly and safely.  Doubts can always be referred to the management at 96956599.

4.  Cleanliness & Responsibilities

4.1. Reasonable dishwashing services are provided.  Users are to place all used utensils in the receptacles provided.  

 

4.2. However, it remains the user’s responsibility to ensure:

 

a.  That there are no stains​ on any of the workstations and floors, especially when using e.g.turmeric or beetroot.

b.  Users must sweep up (and mop up spills) the area used to ensure that no stains, food crumbs or other pieces of debris are left on the floor.  

c.  Users must place all rubbish into the proper receptacles provided.

4.3. IncuBaker will be the final arbiter should there be additional cleaning required

4.4. There should be no personal property left behind in the studio without prior arrangement with IncuBaker.  Any personal items left behind will be disposed of at IncuBaker’s discretion.

4.5. No property of the studio is to be removed without the consent of IncuBaker.

5.  Entry and Exit

5.1. Users will be given an access code for entry to the kitchen upon their successful booking. 

5.2. Resource links will be provided in the confirmation email for setting up procedures including instructions for equipment use.  Please note that access codes will only be given after payment has been received.

5.3. Extension of hours will be subject to availability, you may text us at 96956599 to check availability and payment (PayPal or PayNow). Note that extensions without prior notice will be charged at a 50% premium over the prevailing rates.

5.4. Please ensure that all utilities are switched off including the air-conditioners and lights. Failure to do so may again result in additional fees being levied.

5.5. Please ensure that the main door is shut firmly. The time of exit is logged and correlated with the booking.

  

6.  Cancellations

6.1. Cancellation and refunds are not permitted. 

6.2. Workstation bookings may be postponed provided at least 48hrs notice has been given and subject to availability.  Notice of less than 48hrs will be subject to a 20% admin fee.

6.3. Whole studio bookings may be postponed provided at least 7 working days notice has been given.  Notice less than 7 days will be subject to a 50% admin fee.

6.4. Soft bookings are to be confirmed and paid for within 3 working days.  

6.5. IncuBaker reserves the right to reschedule sessions in the event of exigencies.  Refunds will be offered if the user wishes to cancel the booking.

 

​7.  Liabilities

7.1. IncuBaker is not liable for any accident, mishap or loss that arises from and during the usage of facilities within the premises.

7.2. IncuBaker is not responsible for the quality and safety of food products prepared by users at its premise. 

7.3. By using the premises, it is agreed that users will indemnify IncuBaker from all claims arising from any consequence arising from the consumption of food items produced by the User(s) at the premise.

8.  Use of Facility as Production Venue

 

8.1. IncuBaker is an NEA-licensed kitchen located at 21 Media Circle #01-01, Infinite Studios, Singapore 138562.

 

8.2. IncuBaker subscribers are to comply with SFA guidelines, as well as guidelines for Food Handlers here

 

8.3. IncuBaker bears no responsibility for users’ accountability to NEA for any violation (and penalty thereof) of the Food Handlers’ licensing, and food hygiene and cleanliness requirements.​

 

9.  Misuse

9.1. You are not to use the address and licensing of IncuBaker for products which are not prepared within this premise. For clarity, preparation defines the full or part process from the preparation of raw materials to completion of packaging. IncuBaker reserves the right to discontinue further rental partnership with immediate effect upon such misuse.

 

9.2. The general use of the premise does not include the use of the address as the Users’ registered office or production address without the written consent of the management of IncuBaker.

10.  Privacy Policy

10.1. Your privacy is very important to us. Accordingly, we have developed this Policy in order for you to understand how we collect, use, communicate, and disclose and make use of personal information. The following outlines our privacy policy.

 

a.  Before or at the time of collecting personal information, we will identify the purposes for which information is being collected.

b.  We will collect and use of personal information solely with the objective of fulfilling those purposes specified by us and for other compatible purposes, unless we obtain the consent of the individual concerned or as required by law.

c.  We will only retain personal information as long as necessary for the fulfillment of those purposes.

d.  We will collect personal information by lawful and fair means and, where appropriate, with the knowledge or consent of the individual concerned.

e.  Personal data should be relevant to the purposes for which it is to be used, and, to the extent necessary for those purposes, should be accurate, complete, and up-to-date.

f.  We will protect personal information by reasonable security safeguards against loss or theft, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or modification.

g.  We will make readily available to customers information about our policies and practices relating to the management of personal information.

 

10.2. We are committed to conducting our business in accordance with these principles in order to ensure that the confidentiality of personal information is protected and maintained.
